TRAINING & COMPLIANCE

     Compliance in the Diocese of Salt Lake City Safe Environment Program is a prerequisite to having regular contact with children, youth and vulnerable adults. After initial certification, compliance is required every three years. FY 2017-18 compliance is on or after July 1, 2015.
     All diocesan personnel and volunteers (even if minors 11 to 17 themselves), having regular contact with children, youth and vulnerable adults, must comply with diocesan policies and with applicable state and local laws.
     The Diocese of Salt Lake City has teamed up with Catholic Mutual Group to launch a Safe Environment training and database platform for managing compliance of volunteers and employees (users) entitled CMG Connect.
