Parish Workshops:

1. Discuss what youth ministry is and is not by looking at what this entails and who it involves.
2. Using a common vision of the components of youth ministry, the parish leaders will take an unbiased look at what youth-centered offerings currently exist within the parish community and develop a comprehensive vision of what they would like to see it become.
3. Participants will learn/use practical tools, resources, and skills to enact a plan of action to further develop the youth ministry program at the parish.
4. Create a network and communication structure for key parish leaders.  These individuals will use their common vision, skills, and experience to collaborate in growing a rich, faith-based and community-centered program for the youth of the parish.

Download a sample outline of what this process may look like (in Microsoft Word format).  This outline is broken down into 5, one-hour sessions.  However, the exact information and time schedule will be adapted to your specific parish.  For example, this can be done as a one-day retreat, two half days, or three evenings.  Contact Matt Boerke for more information on how to bring this series to your parish.
